We represent well over 125 hospitals and heath
care organizations in the South Central Texas Region.
The
Purposes for which the Greater San Antonio Hospital Council is
organized are as follows:

To serve as the leadership
organization to advocate for the greater San Antonio hospitals;

To promote the continuing
education of the membership;

To develop and maintain
informational resources helpful to the membership;

To advocate for legislation
beneficial to the greater San Antonio hospitals;

To establish a forum for
specific policies directed to all membership groups;
-
To participate in
local/regional/national healthcare policy debates on issues affecting the well
being of Greater San Antonio Hospital Council membership.
